This is a lovely village background based on the wonderful drawings of Roger Duvoisin in The Happy lion.
Again, I am posting 3 versions of my latest drawing. The original is pencil drawn and colour penciled in. The other two have added computerised effects.
Can you tell which one is the original and more importantly which one do you like the best?

Post to my Magical Menagerie here is my first of 26 backgrounds I am doing as part of my new yearly project.
This is a roof top scene based on the wonderful Raymond Briggs story called Jim and the Beanstalk.
The initial scene has been drawn in pencil and each is coloured differently.
I am experimenting with colour. One of the scenes is coloured completely on the computer, one is coloured completely by hand in coloured pencil and the third is a combination of hand colouring and computer effects.
Can you tell which is which? And which is your favourite? Have a guess and let me know.

Since I last saw you all on day one I have sought my fortune as a pirate bee. I plunder all day long and fight Spanish wasps across the pond. I fight with valour for my grandeur and the glory of the fat bummed Queen.
Tony decided to cut out the middle man. He’d been carrying the Great Blondell for too long.
Panda waited happily.
He was made to be seated but was looking forwarded to being reshaped as a walking bear as his bum was starting to get numb.
Ollie turn round.
“What a mess!” he thought.
“There must be a way to get this piano up the stairs and into the house!”
Goggles had just come off shift. He’d delivered a lot of mail this morning to the creatures of the wood but it was nagging him that he’d forgotten something.
Just as this thought was forming a slow and tiny rustle could be heard coming from his postal bag.
Crannington the Monkey magician liked nothing better, after a show, than to air his armpits. The stage light were always overly hot and this was his cool down time,
The benefit of being a tiny whale thought Bob was that you can hide when your mum asks you to come and tidy your reef.
