Can you tell what this creature is?

Whilst in New Zealand I have seen many signs to caution a traveller about local creatures on the road. I am going to post 3 creatures over the next 3 days to the end of my trip. Can you …a. Tell what each creature is and b. Catch the odd creature out. one creature belongs in England.

Here is creature number one:

As Dave waived his arm out of the water to warm up a bit you could see where the puncture repair seal-ant was needed 2 days ago after a brief fracas with Gary the crayfish.

Arnold was the nastiest rodent you could ever meet. He was down right mean. He once revealed the end of an episode of Miss Marple to the King of the Faeries just before he was about to watch it. as a result the King punished him by turning him into stone for 100 years. quite harsh you might think but it really was a good episode spoilt!

Trixie loved to slide and play on the glacier. She did it every day and sometime conversed with the mysterious Yeti. Who wasn’t at all mysterious really. They talked about art and yarn and film.

kara waits for the next child to play with her expectantly. She loves all the little persons and has great fun.

when no one was looking and in the darkness of the top end of the garden Mad Dog sniffed his favourite flowers. He loved smelling them in bloom but needless to say it would destroy his reputation if anyone were to find out.

Susan stood back and examined her find. It was clear to her that even early man, through cave
paintings, had documented the evil of wasps!

Jeff could see the little sand crab he wanted and decided his strategy would be to creep, creep more softly than he’d ever done before.
